STYLE SHEET. TEMPLATE FOR SUBMISSIONS

TWO versions of the article are required:

Complete version with all data

  1. Text in Microsoft Word format. It will include all information regarding the authors as well as images, tables, and any other graphic element in the place deemed most suitable. On the first page of the article, the title of the work in its original language and its translation into English must be indicated, along with a brief summary in Spanish and English, as well as a list of keywords in those languages (around five). In case the article is not written in Spanish, both the title and the keywords and the summary must be provided in the language of the article, in English, and Spanish. The full name of the author or authors, their institutional affiliation, their ORCID number, and email address must also be included.
  2. Figures and tables in digital format, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. For photographs, the format must be .jpg, .png, .tiff. For drawings, illustrations, and syntactic trees, a scalable vector format (.svg) is required. Syntactic trees in svg vector format can be easily created with programs like TreeForm or RSyntaxTree. Illustrations (plates, drawings, or photographs) will be indicated in the text with the label "Figure" (e.g., Figure 1, Figure 2). Charts, graphs, and tables must be sent in editable text format (.doc, .docx, .rtf, .xls, .ai, .eps, etc.) and designated as "Table". Graphics must always be accompanied by the data tables they are based on. They will be sent in individual files indicating the figure/table number and its location in the text. The author(s) is/are obliged to cite the source of origin of all graphic documentation, regardless of its nature, if it is not authored by them. The journal declines all responsibility that may arise from the infringement of intellectual or commercial property rights.

Anonymous version for evaluation in pdf format.

  • It must contain only the text of the article, without any elements that allow the authors to be identified, either directly or indirectly, both in the text (name and affiliation, CRediT roles, self-citations, personal notes, etc.) and in the file metadata (check the "Properties" of the PDF in the "File" section).
  • This second version will be used for external evaluation; therefore, all contents will be exactly the same in these two files, except for the necessary modifications to anonymize the document in PDF.

PROOFREADING

  • During the editing process, the authors of the articles accepted for publication will receive proofs for proofreading.
  • The authors will have a maximum of fifteen days to correct and submit corrections to the editor. If there is more than one author, these corrections will be submitted to the first author.
  • These corrections primarily refer to printing errors or grammatical changes. Substantial modifications to the text (adding or removing paragraphs in the original) that significantly alter the typographic layout cannot be made. The cost of corrections that do not conform to the indicated guidelines will be borne by the authors.
  • The correction of the second proof will be carried out by the editorial office.
